Hope for Haiti

Hi Mamas. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day.

As Hurricane Matthew approaches my home state of Florida as a Category 4 storm, I can’t help but worry not only about my family, first and foremost, the residents of Florida, but also, those who the storm has also stolen everything from.

Haiti was devastated by this deadly hurricane. It’s the first of it’s kind in severity to hit the Carribbean nation in over 50 years. Twenty-five people have been pronounce dead, and the death toll continues to climb.

The saddest part to me is the fact that their orphanage was destroyed. They have no more kitchen, or food, for the precious children who have nowhere else to turn.

That’s why I am posting this today – because I want to compel all of you to open up your heart today, and consider donating to help those who are far less fortunate than any of us. Here in America, the great reality is, we will rebuild. We WILL be okay. But we cannot say the same for the people of Haiti. It’s a country in dire need of our help, and many areas are still left reeling from the devastation that surmounted from the earthquake they experienced a few years back.

If you would be so kind to just click this link, have a look at the website – and I promise you, it is legitimate – and donate anything at all, it would be so appreciated by these people. The children who have nowhere else to turn are counting on it. Many lives are depending on us. And if not us, then who?
