Today has been one of those days. You know the kind; anything that can go wrong, will go wrong – and at the worst possible time. Murphy’s Law, I suppose. It’s been one thing after another after another after another. It all started around 5 AM, and spiraled down, down, down all the way up until about an hour ago. But, I am determined to change the course of events this evening into something positive. I am determined not to let myself go to bed upset.

Mom Shaming – I wrote a post on this back in September but today, I wanted to touch base on the topic again since it’s such an important one. I don’t believe I had given any examples of what exactly I meant or was talking about in my previous post regarding the same topic, so today I wanted to take a few minutes to do so.
Yesterday I heard one of my favorite songs come on the radio as I was driving home from baby boy’s doctor appointment. ‘Breathe, just breathe,’ sang the voice on the radio. I have been a fan of the song since the very first time I heard it, but never really took time to realize just how much that song summarizes my life.
Tonight, I am doing a quick review of the #WalmartBabyBox that I received free, courtesy of Walmart. When I signed up to receive this baby box, the box and shipping were free. Since then, I have been made aware that Walmart has since began charging shipping for the box. They also have a toddler box, which costs a bit more in shipping than does the infant box. Nonetheless, let’s get onto the sample products I received.

The past 8 months have been nothing short of amazing. I’ve witnessed miracles happen first hand. I’ve seen the creation God brought to life be born in the form of my beautiful son. I’ve seen things happen that were never supposed to happen, according to medical science. I’ve experienced the pain of bringing life into the world on a whole new level. I’ve missed so much sleep. I’ve cried many tears. Life has changed tremendously. And do you know what? I wouldn’t change any of it for the world.

I hope you are all having a fantastic Sunday. Here in South West Florida, it’s chilly, sunny and beautiful today. I am absolutely loving this weather! I have missed this fall like weather so much. I very much look forward to this time of year every year, and wish it would stick around a lot longer than it does. Currently, according to Accu Weather, it’s 63 degrees – and this morning it was 53. I have the porch door and windows open to air the house out.

As a mom, there are products that I’ve come to absolutely love and adore, and just cannot see myself doing without. Tonight, I thought I’d elaborate on just some of those products a bit. As a mom of 5, I’ve learned there are products which are nice to have just to look at, and then there are those which are not only aesthetically pleasing, but functional, too. All of the products I am going to speak about tonight are both attractive and functional. I don’t like to waste money, and I’m sure you don’t either – so let’s get to it, shall we?
